About this artwork

Artist Nick Savides depicts an urban landscape of the East Village. A charming impression of the iconic corner of East 9th Street and 1st Avenue. A building, painted with a mural of clouds, houses a marketplace on the ground floor. The clouds look like theyÕre escaping from the building and into the sky, says Nick. He paints the beautiful spring afternoon in brightly lit colors.
