About this artwork

Overlooking the northern end of the Mall in Manhattan's Central Park, the Wisteria Pergola provides a shaded patio draped with century-old wisteria vines. While visiting the park, artist Onelio Marrero saw an older couple taking in the breathtaking scene. The gentleman moved slightly slower than his partner who patiently guided him by the hand, says Onelio. It was a touching scene paralleled by the the early autumn leaves that hinted at the change of the season.
