About this artwork

The townspeople can sleep secure and safe with Cat Woman patrolling the skies, says artist Lee Smith. She presents an anthropomorphic cat woman that blurs the lines between human, animal, reality, and fantasy. The piece evokes a warm, uplifting mood. A golden-haired creature flies through a night sky lit by golden stars and a mellow moon. Below her, charming, multicolored block houses snuggle together in the townÑoccupants secure in the knowledge that their protector patrols the skies.
