About this artwork

Three canine siblings discuss upcoming activities in which, clearly, the youngest gets a raw deal, describes artist Lee Smith. The dogs depict varying emotions easily read with a bold showing of teeth and glaring eyes. Lee combines rich, intense colors, along with textural surfaces to create good-natured, tongue-in-cheek portrayals of man's best friends. This piece is part of her series on animals that portray human emotions.
