About this artwork

Artist Lee Smith paints a golden-haired young woman walking her lively pup through a neighborhood. “Monica loves getting out in the fresh air to take a break from work, while Dash always thinks she heads home too soon," says Lee. The age-old conundrum between humans and dogs. They both feel invigorated by the cool breeze as they frolic along the spring landscape.
