About this artwork

A river flows at the bottom of a canyon where strong early spring winds whip across its surface. The artwork explores the textural dichotomy of water, one that is smooth and translucent and the other that is rough and opaque. Although still objectively recognized, artist Henry Caserotti focuses on the abstraction of the piece.
