About this artwork

In the remote high desert where Oregon and Idaho meet lies the Owyhee Canyonlands. This deep, rugged, and beautiful area is home to wild horses, mountain lions, and rattlesnakes. The artwork captures one of the canyons that cut sharply through the volcanic rock. It is one of two paintings that artist Henry Caserotti created of this stunning location.
