About this artwork

A plein air watercolor of one of the central and narrow squares in Brno, Czech Republic, bustling with pedestrians and sidewalk cafes. The cathedral of St. Peter and Paul - with its impressive twin towers in Gothic Revival style - is visible in the background. I tried to emphasize the contrast between the building shadows and the rainy atmosphere, says artist Maximilian Damico.
