The soft-focus of the abstracted areas lend a romantic, dreamy feeling to this subtly evocative painting. The colors, texture and brushwork all add life, movement and emotion. Wavy hair creates a shadow, almost concealing her expression, but you can see just enough to tell that she feels pretty in silk. This is part of Pamela's figurative series. She stands several feet away from her canvas and works with long-handled brushes to achieve a loose feeling in each finished painting.
