About this artwork

The setting for this painting is one of the venues in the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. I love visiting the market for its eateries, bakeries, fish and produce that arouse one's appetite. It is also a feast for the eyes with the bustle of the crowds and the visual clutter. Every time I go there, I am torn as to what shop and what food to indulge in. I wanted to capture the essence of the place and the concentration of its workers.
