About this artwork

One of those huge 70s vintage interstate motels just far enough south of Seattle so that you feel you’ve made a good start on the drive to Portland. In a derelict state now; drifting into the future. One can feel the stillness. When it rains, the pools get half filled. While I was shooting the place, the sun broke through and lit up half this wing of the motel. Maybe to go with the pool.
