Recalling his high school days, artist Mitchell Freifeld frequented Carolina Pines Jr. with his friends. Torn down years ago, he painted the iconic building to preserve its happy memory. In line with his modern style, he omitted the large sign from the composition, focusing on its clean and classic elements.
