About this artwork

A glimmer of gold subtly draws attention from the focal point of the face to the cross necklace on the figure and back around through the painting. Pamela begins her process by using large brushes to create strong abstract shapes to form the structure of the composition. She stands several feet away from her canvas and works with long-handled brushes to achieve a loose feeling in the finished painting.
