About this artwork

Sprawling fields in lush green and orange undulate in fluid brushwork. A lone barn rests on the left, set against a backdrop of billowing white clouds. Just off Highway 81 in the southern tier area of New York state is the town of Homer, says artist Doug Cosbie. It's a place where the late summer fields radiate a parade of complementary colors against the August sky.
