About this artwork

An autumn mountain meadow glows in evening light, presiding over a small town with a prominent chapel. The Stowe Community Church is a classic colonel style in the town among the Green Mountains of Vermont, says artist Doug Cosbie. His fluid brushwork creates movement in the piece, delightfully taking one's eyes on a journey from the small road in the city to the lush elevations beyond.
