About this artwork

Light spills from through the window and fills the composition in this painting of a pretty girl in a blue party dress. This is from Pamela's newest figurative series. Her process begins by using large brushes to create strong, abstract shapes that form the structure of her compositions. She stands several feet away from her canvas and works with long-handled brushes to achieve a loose feeling in her finished paintings.
