About this artwork
When Pamela studies a subject to paint, she looks for shapes and forms described by the light. Sometimes when the light is particularly intense, her painting can become what she likes to call a “portrait of light” where the subject and focus of the painting is the ambience created by the light play. “In this piece, the light captivated my attention and became my inspiration,” shares artist Pamela Blaies.
