Even in the middle of winter when the colors are muted, beauty abounds and promises spring, shares artist Melissa Gannon. Inspired by one of her daily walks, Melissa says she had to paint this scene. Watercolor transparency contrasts with gouache opacity, and the iridescent paint adds discreet sparkle. Reflections dance on the water while the snowberries show the season.
