About this artwork

This painting is a newer larger version of a little painting I did several years ago titled Bird In The Window. I've always wanted to do a larger, more colorful version of that painting and this is it. As I was finishing the title You Touched Me came to mind. I think the piece conveys a certain beauty and fun but her somewhat confrontational posture and probing, questioning eyes also reminds me of very serious issues facing all of us today.
