Glenn Quist is a full-time artist in Elk River, Minnesota, near the Twin Cities metropolitan area. His elongated modernist figures appear in scenes derived from both memory and imagination with a strong emphasis on color and composition. Glenn considers his paintings to be "somewhere between dreams and reality." Opposed to telling stories directly, he prefers to present his work and leave the interpretation to the viewer.

Artist Statement
My artistic endeavors cover a wide spectrum of subjects, often drawn from the depths of memory and imagination, infused with vibrant hues and carefully crafted compositions. I perceive my paintings as a bridge between the realms of dreams and reality, inviting viewers to explore the delicate balance between the two. Rather than dictating narratives, I prefer to let my art speak for itself, allowing each observer to interpret and connect with it in their own unique way.
