About this artwork

Single Swimmer has the feeling of a quick gestural sketch done with paints. The brushwork and paint drips have a loose, gestural look with a feeling of confidence in each stroke. The single figure is gazing out at the viewer. The figure has very little detail, which allows the viewer to fill in the narrative.
