About this artwork

Artist Gail Ragains depicts three abstract figures sitting together in shades of blue, teal, green, and yellow. Warm accents of orange and pink balance the dominantly verdant composition. The painting of the negative spaces contributes to flattening the surface images and abstraction, says Gail. I used several tools to establish gestural mark-making.
