A misty dawn over a western prairie, the yellow grasses and dark foliage contrast suggesting a sunny day to come. Part of Nancy's signature series of nature scenes. She spends a lot of time exploring the landscape around her home in Tacoma, Washington searching for noteworthy compositions. She looks for exciting colors and lines as the foundations for her picturesque scenes.
