Nancy Merkle spends a lot of time exploring the nature around her home in Tacoma, Washington searching for special compositions in the landscape. She looks for exciting colors and lines as the foundations for her picturesque scenes. A colorful autumn forest inspired this landscape, Nancy says. Warm hues of red, orange, and yellow dominate the rustic scene.
