About this artwork

Craig has been painting what he calls “Architectural Abstractions” for a couple of years now. Simplified environments expressed with a limited color palette. This recent painting series is titled “NAR”, meaning “No Assembly Required”, and is losely based on a collection of various-sized paper cubes that have been stacked, arranged and lit from different angles. Photographs of these paper models are then manipulate on the computer. There he applies his color-blocking palette of 14 colors.
