About this artwork

Artist Craig Rouse paints a simplified abstract environment composed of angled structures. Part of his NAR series, meaning No Assembly Required. He uses a hard-edge painting style with abrupt transitions between the different ranges and consistencies. Craig manipulates photographs of paper cube models and applies a color-blocking palette of 14 colors as a reference.
