About this artwork

Transparent watercolor on 140 lb. Arches paper. The image extends to the edges of the paper. These colorful and shapely subjects struck me as having certain complementary similarities to each other, so I wanted to blend them together in one exciting composition. I really enjoyed further accentuating the peacocks' already elaborate plumage with the fabulous crowns of the flowers.
