About this artwork

Artist Patricia Prendergast depicts a popular fishing spot along the American River in Sacramento, California. There were actually many fishermen there when I took the photo, shares Patricia. She decides to draw focus on the golden rays of the sun streaming through lush greenery. The water glimmers reflecting the warm light while a lone fisherman stands in the distance, barely visible. Patricia suggests framing the painting under glass.
