About this artwork

The thick, textured paint, expressive brushstrokes, and warm saturated colors of this painting depict the Arizona landscape from Tara’s travels out west. She hopes that the viewer can feel the wind, and heat of the desert in this painting, and be transported for a moment into the quiet of the landscape. The lush impasto colors of this painting wrap around the edges of the canvas in thick brushstrokes.
