About this artwork

Last spring, I picked up a little collection of succulents from the grocery store, says artist Tara Zalewsky-Nease. I hesitated to buy them at first, as IÕm not the most confident gardener, and my cats are skilled plant hunters. Tara says that the variety of colors and shapes of the gem-like succulents eventually won her over. From her collection of plants, she composed this piece with a few reference photos of west coast rock gardens.
