About this artwork

This peaceful composition was inspired by the lush green colors of a summer day in the forest, with the softening effect of light rain and the sun finding its way throughout, explains artist Gary Leonard. I wanted to create a piece with an organic, soft warm green palette. The model with her relaxed pose and loose clothing contribute to the overall feeling.
