About this artwork

I was excited to spot this house which is like a subject for an Edward Hopper painting. The house is in Oregon and is actually located on a country lane named Parson Road. I painted it in extra warm tones and with a radiating foreground to draw your eye into the painting. I exaggerated the slanting lines of shadow on the house to make the light the real subject of the painting. The overall effect is captivating but calming.
