About this artwork

This figurative painting was inspired by the abstract viewpoint from my hotel balcony in Paris of the pedestrians on the street walking below me. My signature Pixel Impressionism brush strokes, used to render the motion of this street scene, were inspired by digital video. Using the perspective of a camera and expressive application of oil on canvas create a contemporary version of Impressionism. The 1.5 inch museum-wrapped canvas with finished edges is varnished with a satin finish to protect against UV, dust and smoke. It is wired on the back, ready to hang on your wall.
