About this artwork

This is the second in a series I just started in 2018 exploring the theatricality behind the making of Flambé meals. In this painting, I focused on the variety of colors and light. The interior is warm in color but the chef's outfit and the table linens dazzled me with the reflections of cool daylight filtering in from a large nearby window.
