About this artwork

The largest waterfowl species of the subfamily Anserinae, the swan glides majestically when swimming and fly with slow wingbeats. It is elegant, distinguished and is one of Jo’s favorite subjects to paint. Jo quotes “these creatures amaze me every time. They may not the friendliest waterfowl, as a matter of fact they can be mean and aggressive, but they sure are beautiful.”
