This striking image of an oversized profile with the detailed dragon earrings creates a stunning presence in any room. The execution of the piece began with a loose expressive wash. Creating the overall texture of the piece. The paint execution although fairly tight because it is an oversizes image, has spontaneous brush work and spatter to create a striking image. The model was actual a visitor at one of the artists gallery exhibitions who admired his work.
