About this artwork

A thick layer of clouds begins to loosen its grip on the Malibu coast as the restless autumn sea besets a pier of stone, describes artist Jesse Aldana. Beams of silver sunlight break through heavy clouds illuminating the crashing waves below. Seafoam dissipates as they approach the shore, retreating back once again joining the mighty ocean.
