About this artwork

The artwork pays tribute to Josef Albers, who joined the Bauhaus faculty in Germany in 1923. Within the composition, one can read his mission as a teacher, glued on a collage of texts and images painted in blue, hot pink, and yellow. Artist Chus Galiano uses paper, latex, plastic, and aluminum to create the piece.
