About this artwork

this piece uses citrus colors, balanced with bright reds, blues and greys to make the perfect blend of sweet and sour. when cooking, i strive to combine ingredients to achieve a good depth of flavor, and i used the same idea when developing this painting, says the artist. i was a little out of my comfort zone with some of the colors i decided to include, so the balancing act was important.
