About this artwork
This piece was inspired by the group selfie. Being generally taken during happy, social times, and also typically among youth, a selfie taken among a group of machines being silly together implies that robots are not only capable of folly, but of growing up and experiencing different levels of maturity. The sides are finished with imagery of physiological close-ups (cells, micro-organisms, brain cross-sections, etc).
