Art work from My “Flowers” Series I love how Flowers appear on silk. Each Silk Painting technique has its own beauty and I it for its softness, shimmer, brilliant colors, Jewel effects and the beautiful resisting outlines which create a two dimensional effect and a very defined line with vivid details. My silk paintings are wall hangings. Stretched over stretcher bur sides are painted and ready to be hang. The painted silk looks beautiful after steaming; the colors become brighter and more intense, and the full sheen of the silk is restored. Now you can wash it, the color won't come off. You don’t need to wash wall hangings though; the color will stay for a long time like oil paint
