As a part of artist Yelena Sidorova's Figurative series, this painting celebrates the connection between a girl and her feline friend. Bright bursts of colors echo their charming bond on a cheerful night. Yelena made the artwork by painting silk with acrylics and dyes, using black and gold resist to control the colors from spreading. She steamed the piece as a final step to protect and preserve its brightness.
