About this artwork

During the eighteenth century in Mexico, there were very few options for young women.If from a wealthy family, having a daughter who belonged to a religious order was prestigious. At the profession of their vows and at their death, they were crowned with an enormous ring of flowers of bright colors and held a scepter and a bouquet of equally colorful flowers. I have always found a beauty in past traditions. This art piece is ready to hang in a special place in your home.
