About this artwork

A man sits introspectively, his posture curled and reflective. Green foliage, vibrant patterns, and varied textures form an intricate backdrop. Artist Darlene McElroy notes that one's random thoughts lead them on a path that could go anywhere. Meditation, nature, books, and a journal can all invite an adventure within the mind. Darlene uses acrylics, collage, book parts, and fabric to create the piece.
