About this artwork

Nature has saved its most brilliant colors for the last act, the most spectacular fanfare and fireworks before resting through winter. I enjoy combining organic forms with simple lines as I strive to capture the essence of the landscape and my experience of that moment. The highly textured surface and low relief effects are created by a combination of embossed papers and layering of acrylic paint.
