About this artwork
I came across a series of maps, more specifically an old Trip Tik that I used about 20 years ago to travel across the country. It became a starting point for this piece, incorporated as collage, and as I responded to the circled focal points on the map, after some layers of development it became clear that the circle was to be a dominant theme. Thoughts of travel, time and marked passages emerged.
