About this artwork
Urban grit, grates and graffiti, the city's patterns and its well worn textures have long been intriguing to me. I love the evidence left of time passages and of people having moved through different spaces over the course of years. I used multiple transparent and semi-transparent layers in this piece that I incorporated with some sanding. This painting comes in a custom black wood frame.
