About this artwork

The 'Aerials' series are works inspired by the snapshots of earth from the I.S.S. The silver leaf used tarnishes over a period of time, and influences the light variations to change. This process both embodies and parallels the frustration between ephemerality of environment, and the eternity nuanced through beauty.
