About this artwork
This is the first in a new twist on the 'Bots series in which I am using thin layers of acrylic paint over collaged pages of an old novel to create my scenes. For these first ones, I have used vintage photographs that my husband and I found laying about in the snow on a trip to Brussels several years ago. I have used these photos as my source material and superimposed my 'bots into their worlds. The fun continues here as you get to decide if holding the paddle is an asset or a liability. The sides are finished with the torn, yellowed pages of a novel. The work comes wired and ready to hang.
