About this artwork
After paintings some portraits for a while I had to take a break. When ever you stretch you look up. This painting is what I saw. Lots of colors to the right of sundown and that is also where the name came from. I always come back to the joy I get from painting the sky. The balance between the real and abstract is a constant in my work. Trying to get the emotions across on the canvas with color and textures is a long time goal. I like this one for that goal.
